Issue #16 | Visuals vs. Research vs. Execution: Claude makes a statement in the AI platform wars

Happy Saturday, Agents!

I hope you survived the turkey coma and the Black Friday inbox deluge. I love this time of year and feel truly grateful to be building this great community of over 2400 agents across the industry who wanna be on the cutting edge of how AI can help them grow.

If you’ve been reading this newsletter for a while, you know I’ve been focusing a lot on Google’s Gemini and Chat. But my loyalty isn’t to any platform—it’s to you. My job is to find the absolute best tool for the specific job, no matter whose logo is on it.

And this week, while we were all distracted by pumpkin pie, the AI world dropped a massive update that challenges the leaderboard.

Let’s dig in (to the leftovers).

🍗 The Main Course: Claude Opus 4.5 Launch

If you missed the news while traveling, Anthropic (the makers of Claude) just dropped Opus 4.5. As each company continues to advance their platforms, you can see the market starting to split into three lanes. You gotta know which car to drive for which race. This is changing monthly but here’s a way to think about where they’re focusing:

  • Gemini 3 for Visual storytelling

  • ChatGPT for Brainstorming and strategy

  • Claude Opus 4.5 for Docs, data, and coding

  • Perplexity for Research

The new Opus update excels in its new "Presentation Mode" (Artifacts 2.0). Previously, if you asked AI for a presentation, it gave you a text outline. You still had to open PowerPoint, pick a template, and copy-paste for an hour. Opus 4.5 now generates high-fidelity, visual slide decks inside the chat window that can be downloaded as PDFs or opened in Google drive.

How agents can execute this today:

  1. File upload: Take your chaotic CMA PDF, your notes on the neighborhood, and the MLS sheet of a comparable property. Drag and drop all of them into Claude.

  2. Prompt: Type this: "I have a listing pitch tomorrow. Based on these files, build me a 7-slide presentation for the sellers (The Smiths). Focus on how we price against the competition. Render it as a Slide Deck Artifact."

  3. In Chat: Claude doesn't just write the text. It pops open a side window and renders the actual slides—with headlines, bullet points, and even generated charts comparing the pricing.

  4. Edting: You don't like Slide 3? Don't edit it manually. Just type: "Make Slide 3 more aggressive on the pricing strategy and make the font bigger." It updates in real-time.

Why this matters: While Gemini can also generate slides (and export them to Google Slides), Claude Opus 4.5 shines when the content needs to be deeply analytical. It reads your uploaded documents with higher precision, ensuring the data on those slides—like pricing adjustments and contract terms—is 100% accurate before you ever hit download.

🥧 The Side Dish: The Pre-Meeting Dossier

The other big upgrade in Opus 4.5 is "Computer Use" (Browser Control). This sounds technical, but for a real estate agent, it solves one of the big anxieties in the business: Going into a meeting blind.

Problem: You get a lead. You have a name and an email. You should spend an hour researching them, checking their LinkedIn, Googling their company, and looking up their current address tax records. But you're too busy. So you call them cold.

Use Case: Opus 4.5 can now "control" a browser window to do research for you while you’re getting other things done.

The Workflow:

  1. Give Claude a list of 5 leads you need to call on Monday.

  2. Prompt: "Act as my researcher. Open a browser and look up these 5 names. Find their LinkedIn profiles to see what they do for a living, check Google News for any recent mentions of their company, and find their current property tax address if public. Compile a 'Cheat Sheet' table for me."

  3. Result: Claude will literally navigate the web, click links, read articles, and come back with a neatly formatted dossier on who these people are.

Why this matters: No more “cold calls”. You’re making a "warm call" because you know that Lead #3 just got promoted to VP of Sales last week and Lead #4's company just announced a relocation HQ.

🍷 The Digestif

Your assignment this weekend: Don't work. Eat well, and rest up. You’ve earned it.
